The Meenakshi Amman Hindu temple in Madurai, India. An magical sight sat high above the chaotic city. A place of pilgrimage for many Hindus from around India, this vibrant and detailed temple was worth my 7 hour drive to Tamil Nadu from Kerala. The best part about this place is that the temple has a collection of cows inside that you can feed and pet, but you have to be dedicated enough to step barefoot in cow poop… but I did it anyway!
