Supposedly a random place to visit in between Taipei and Kaohsiung City according to the Taiwanese, but one with its own unique spirit. Taiwan beer, jade, meat markets, boutique shops, Confucius and Buddhist shrines and temples, all on the coast of the South China Sea. My favorite place in Taiwan.
