On a board retreat in Feb 2020 with Operation Asha, a Delhi-based nonprofit that works to eradicate tuberculosis worldwide, we visited a slum in New Delhi where we went to a treatment center. This young mom was happy to be helped by Op Asha and was in the middle of her 6-9 month course of antibiotics. It felt different to visit a slum on a positive note and be welcomed by the the community who is so greatly impacted by the availability of TB meds.
