Outside of one of the project locations I worked at in Palluruthy, India, I walked past this cute roadside cobbler one day sitting on the side of a busy road. Cobblers are everywhere on street corners in India. Almost as common as chai and chaat stands, cobblers sit along roads and fix shoes all day long. I never once saw a man working in a chair, always on the ground working with both their hands and feet.
