Central Fish Market in Qatif is a major supplier of fish to the Arab world. Located on the coast of the Arabian (Persian) Gulf, fish are brought to market, sold, and transported to Dubai, Bahrain, and beyond. Fishing is ingrained in Qatifi culture and cuisine. My favorite fish we ate whole, bones and all. While I always love to eat with my hands, the smell of fish is not an easy one to rid your fingers of… lemon juice definitely helps.
